WhatsApp team announces that WhatsApp messenger will stop working on Windows smartphones by the end of this year

WhatsApp is right now the most used messaging service across the globe. But soon many smartphones will lose this awesome messenger app. WhatsApp has announced the complete cut off from Windows phones. In a recent blog, WhatsApp announced that the messaging app won’t be available for Windows phones. The company states that the messenger will stop working on all smartphones powered by Microsoft Windows.

In a blog post on Tuesday, WhatsApp made it clear that their service will no longer work on Windows. By the end of 2019, WhatsApp will shut down its services for Windows-powered smartphones. Maybe some of the features stop working on Windows phones at any time. The blog post clearly mentions: “You’ll no longer be able to use all Windows Phone operating systems after December 31, 2019,”. It reads; “Because we no longer actively develop for these operating systems, some features might stop functioning at any time.”
